Jewish Wedding | Los Angeles Wedding Photographer
Photographing weddings in Los Angeles really allows me to experience different traditions and cultures. Personally I think being able to see how all of these beautiful events unfold during the day is awe inspiring.
Rachel and Alex had an incredible Jewish wedding. The room where the ketubah signing took place was fulled with family and friends to witness this wonderful couple sign this historic document.
My favorite part of the wedding however was the horah! The reception room filled with life, love and excitement as Rachel and Alex were lifted up in to the air above everyone they love.
Rachel’s Hayley Paige dress was incredibly stunning. The strapless piece hugged her tiny frame in all of the right places and then fanned out in to layers of perfect lace. Adding the right amount of elegance and volume to Rachel’s wedding day look. Paired with the bridesmaids dusty blue dresses, the white flower details really shone through.
The first look is always one of my favorite events on a wedding day. Giving the couple a moment to themselves to really soak it in, to enjoy one another and be alone is very special.
Rachel and Alex did not disappoint, they really let their personalities shine through and you can really see it in their wedding pictures. They stayed true to themselves and shared tons of laughs and kisses!
At the end of the reception the sun was setting beautifully over the horizon and we just simply needed to take advantage of the warm glowy light mother nature was gifting us. Rachel threw on her “Mrs. Pilger” jacket and proudly strutted around with her HUSBAND.
It’s always mind-blowing to see that shift. When the couples go from calling each other fiancé to husband/wife. It’s a beautiful transition and I don’t think I’ll ever stop loving it.
